Dark and Darker primarily features two in-game currencies: Redstone and Bluestone shards. While you primarily earn Bluestone shards by leveling up your triumph level, you cannot obtain Redstone shards through normal progression. Here’s everything you need to know about Redstone Shards in Dark and Darker.
Redstone Shards are Dark and Darker's premium currency, which you can purchase with real money. You will need them to obtain Legendary Status and other in-game cosmetics, item skins, and emotes. You can purchase Redstone Shards in your local currency, and they are non-refundable.
To purchase Redstone Shards, load the game and navigate to the store page to select your favorite bundle. You can purchase a single Redstone Shard for $2, all the way up to $30 for 15. You can use those 15 Redstone Shards to purchase Legendary Status. This was given to players who purchased the game before it went free-to-play, and it grants you access to more Character Slots, High-Roller Dungeons, Shared Stash, and allows you to become a Trader in the marketplace.
