Disney Dreamlight Valley loves a good scavenger hunt, and The Pumpkin King Returns update has added a rather tricky one involving Matryoshka dolls, which can be found scattered throughout the valley. But where are they, and how do you use them to unlock a new villager?

Added in The Pumpkin King Returns update, the Matryoshka Dolls are four different Matryoshka dolls that players will need to find throughout Dreamlight Valley. Once you find and pick up the first doll, you’ll start the quest Something Comes A’Knocking—a friendship quest with Merlin.
In this quest, you must find all the Matryoshka dolls and place them in a special 'pumpkin tree' in the Forgotten Lands to unlock Jack Skellington. Finding these Matryoshka dolls in Dreamlight Valley is a challenging task, however, and is just the first thing you need to do to get Jack Skellington's level 10 reward.
To start the Something Comes A'Knocking quest, you'll need to complete the Fairy Godmother's friendship level two quest, Fire Alarm. Once you complete her friendship quest, Jack's tree and the dolls will appear in Dreamlight Valley.
