With Shadow of the Erdtree upon us, you’ll need to master the Elden Ring once again. It’s ideal to have all the perks you can get before you enter the Land of Shadows, and one such item will save you in an emergency: Boiled Crab. Here’s how to get it.
Blackguard Big Boggart – Full Side Mission – Elden Ring
Boiled Crab is a consumable item in Elden Ring. As with most high-quality consumables, obtaining these, especially in large quantities, can be quite tricky. However, there is one NPC who lives in the base game and is very generous with his supplies: Blackguard Big Boggart. You can find him in the Boilprawn Shack in the middle of the Liurnia of the Lakes region.
Finding his stash can be trickier than it first seems. First, you'll want to talk to Rya, who's waiting by a gazebo directly southeast of Boilprawn Shack. Talking to her will give you her quest line, which involves returning her necklace after you find the thief who made it. This quest will then take you to Boggart in Boilprawn Shack.
You can then talk to Boggart and pay him 1000 Runes to buy the necklace from him. You can also choose to kill Boggart and take the necklace by force, but we advise against that. Not only will you lose your chance to buy his Boiled Crab, but it will also change the Dung Eater questline later in the story.
