There are several new weapons introduced in Shadow of the Erdtree. While most of these weapons can be found as simple drops from enemies, others can be harder to find. One of the most missable weapons in the game is the Falx. Here's how to get it.

The Falx is a new Curved Greatsword introduced in Shadow of the Erdtree. Finding this weapon can be a fairly involved process if you don’t know where to start. There are a few instances where you can obtain the Falx, and they all involve playing the Hornsent questline in Elden Ring. This process takes you through a few areas, so it may take a while.
When you first encounter Leda at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace, she will direct you to the Hornsent, who will give you a map of crosses to follow. From this point, play through the storyline until you get through Castle Ensis and defeat Rellana. Once you've done that, you can continue on to Scadu Altus, where you'll encounter the Hornsent once more, at the Highroad Cross Site of Grace.
Talking to him here will give you another map with crosses to follow. This path will eventually take you to the Shadow Keep, one of the main legacy dungeons. When you reach the starting point, you will see the message "Somewhere, a great rune has broken…" flashing on your screen. Once this happens, your first chance to obtain the Falx will open.
