Fuel in Manor Lords is an essential resource needed for survival and production. Without fuel, your villagers will freeze in the winter and buildings will not function.
5 Secrets Manor Lords Won't Tell You
Setting up a fuel source should be one of the first things you do in Manor Lords to keep your villagers warm. But fuel is more than just a source of heat, it’s needed to keep buildings functioning and for a positive approval rating. Almost everything in Manor Lords requires fuel, which is why I recommend having a large surplus of it. From wood to charcoal, here’s how to stock up on fuel so your village can thrive in Manor Lords.
The first two buildings I recommend building in Manor Lords are a Logging Camp and a Woodcutter's Lodge. Both will cut down trees, with the Logging Camp providing wood for construction and the Woodcutter's Lodge making firewood for heat and fuel. Make sure to place the Woodcutter's Lodge near heavily forested areas that don't have other resources like berries or animals for hunting.
A woodcutter’s hut will eventually need a family to work in the building permanently, and a marketplace for a firewood stand. Villagers keep their homes warm by buying firewood from the marketplace stand, and excess amounts are put into a storehouse, which will eventually need a full-time family to ensure buildings have what they need for fuel. Wood is also used to make charcoal, which doubles the fuel efficiency.
