After barely making it out alive from the British fleet attack, the first mission we accepted was to recover Scurlock’s contraband of Explosive Firearms and Opulent Rum. If, like me, you carried and sold extra Opulent to begin your journey at St. Anne’s, then you already know that this little vial is a key to your fortune. As you progress through the campaign and approach the Kingpin, John Scurlock, you’ll discover that his stash contains items that he trades for White and Gold Skull Rums in Skull and Bones.
Skull and Bones Gold Skull Rum How to Unlock it – Gold Skull Rum Skull and Bones Tips
Collecting sugar cane and making white rum was already a pain in the ass, but at least the game lets you understand the process through Yanita. That’s not the case with Gold Skull Rum, however; the lack of detailed information forces players to look all over the game. If you’re stuck with this task and are looking for an easy way to get it, this is all you need.
The Gold Skull Rum is one of the Helm Wares refined from White Skull Rum and obtained from Distillery at Smuggler Operations Rank 7. You spend 10 Smuggler Pass Tokens or Pieces of Eight to increase your rank. Interact with the Helm Empire Overview book to find the Upgrade section. The book is located on the table of Smuggler's Hideout. You can collect the required currency by completing hunts and delivery requests from the Helm.
Before you start the trade request to earn the amount needed for the upgrade, go to the distillery and give them resources to make White Skull Rum. Since you need two White Skull Rum to make Gold Skull Rum, you should have workers working for the material instead of letting them sit idle. If you are unsure where to get sugar cane, check the Supply Chain map and get that first.
