There are several Deviants that you can find and use while playing Once Human. These are helpful creatures that you can use in battle or keep around your base to gather resources. One of the harder Deviants to find is the Grumpy Bulb.
Where to find the Grumpy Bulb Deviant in Once Human
The Grumpy Bulb is a rare Deviant that only appears if you put in the effort, and it's unlikely that it will even appear for you. What makes the Deviant unique is how you find it, and if you don't know where to look for it in Once Human, it can be difficult to track the Grumpy Bulb. Once you do find the Grumpy Bulb, it will become an asset to you in battle as you fight off hordes of enemies.
You get the Grumpy Bulb Deviant by harvesting a Deviated Onion, a special one from the others you find in Once Human. It is possible to find an onion in the wild, but you can also grow and harvest them at your base. I find that it is much easier to harvest onions regularly if you create multiple farm plots in your base and then fill them with harvestable onion seeds. It is a difficult process compared to the Pyro Dino Deviant.
What makes the Grumpy Bulb tricky to get is that it doesn’t appear when you draw your first Deviated Onion. It’s a random chance whether or not the Grumpy Bulb appears. This means that you can draw dozens of Deviated Onions before the Grumpy Bulb appears for you in Once Human, and it can be a time-consuming process if you’re trying to unlock this Deviant on your character. Other than regularly farming for Deviated Onions at your base, I don’t believe there’s a good method to regularly harvest this crop.
