If you’re looking to farm rewards quickly, you’ll probably want to get HellMarked in Diablo 4. This is a sort of new status effect in Season 4 that you gain the more enemies you kill. While it may seem like a drawback, which in many ways it is, you can take full advantage of it to farm rewards. Once you get HellMarked in D4, monsters from all corners of Hell will come after you, meaning you can harvest more loot. So here’s exactly how it works.

You must kill enemies during an active Helltide to become HellMarked.
When you are HellMarked, monsters will spawn faster and target you. The more monsters you defeat and Tormented chests you open, the higher the chance you have of getting Baneful Hearts. This is important because if you survive HellMarked, a Hellborne boss will spawn. Defeating him is a guaranteed Baneful Heart drop.
After collecting three of these hearts, you can use them at Accursed Altars to summon Blood Maiden (this season's new boss). Defeat her at the end and you'll get a bunch of rewards that are better than what you'd get from farming random mobs.
