The Twisted Masquerade returns to Dead by Daylight, giving players the chance to earn multiple rewards as they celebrate the game’s anniversary. The event focuses primarily on the many masks that players can earn for their characters by competing in games and completing specific objectives.
How to Unlock Twisted Masquerade Masks as an Assassin
The Twisted Masquerade kicks off on June 13th, celebrating Dead by Daylight’s eighth anniversary. Players will be treated to free rewards such as cosmetics, blood points, Iridescent Shards, and a new event, Tome. For those looking to earn the many masks available to Survivors and Killers, there are specific things to work on during this event to earn these rewards quickly.
Similar to previous Twisted Masquerade events, there are 12 masks that players can grab during the event. Players earn these masks by playing a game of Dead by Daylight and obtaining the Invitation Scroll, which they find when the Masquerade Pillar spawns during their game. Now, when you go to the Twisted Masquerade Event Scroll, the rewards page will display how many event points you need to unlock them. They aren’t directly tied to the Invitation Scrolls, but finding them will help.
A player must have at least one token on the Invitation Scroll when the Exit Gates or Hatch open for a mask to count. Once you have enough Event Points, you will be taken to the Twisted Masquerade rewards screen to select the mask you want to grab. There is no chance system, so players will not receive repeat masks, meaning they can expect to receive a different mask each time they successfully grab an Invitation Scroll. Vecna, unfortunately, did not make the cut.
