Every Google user gets 15GB of free online storage for use with Google Drive, which includes your Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, and Jamboard files, as well as Google Photos. Your Gmail account is also tied to it. If you have trouble deleting messages or often receive large email attachments, you can easily hit that 15GB limit. When this happens, Google will sell you extra storage on its servers.
