From the moment you enter Gloomy Manor in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD for Nintendo Switch, you'll see cobwebs everywhere. You can vacuum up the smaller webs with your Poltergust 5000, but the larger ones you'll need to burn away. So how do you burn away the cobwebs?
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD How to Get Rid of Cobwebs – Luigi's Mansion 2 Nintendo Switch Cobwebs
Until you reach Dark Moon Quest mission A-5 Sticky Situation, you can ignore the large cobwebs. Some of them block passages and doors, but you can't remove them yet. During Sticky Situation, you have to remove the cobwebs to progress, but the game doesn't tell you how. Luckily, I'm going to tell you how.
To remove large spider webs in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, you'll need to burn them. Burning them is never easy, though. Unfortunately, your Poltergust 5000 doesn't have a flamethrower attachment. However, during Sticky Situation (right after Visual Tricks), there will be a ball of web somewhere near each large spider web. The ball will either be rolling around freely, or dangling from the ceiling on a stretchy line of web. These web balls are the key to burning webs in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.
The exact steps required to get rid of a spider web vary from web to web, but the principle is always the same. Using your Poltergust 5000, you need to grab the ball of web, move it to a flame source, and then move it to the web blocking your path. The available flame sources are usually candles, but there are also stoves and fireplaces to watch out for.
