Enshrouded consists of tons of resources that players need to gather for certain crafting recipes. And Salt is one such material that you need to get your hands on early in your campaign through Embervale. While you might think of using it to season some of your food and cooking recipes, it’s actually the opposite.
Enshrouded Salt Mine – How to Get Salt in Enshrouded
Salt in Enshrouded is most commonly used to create dried fur on the drying rack needed to craft one of the armor sets. That said, it is a useful resource to have in your inventory and can be obtained fairly early in the game. Players can mine it during one of the quests the Hunter hands over to them.
To get Salt in Enshrouded, you'll need to travel all the way to the Egerton Salt Mines. However, you'll need to find the Hunter first to have her assign the assigned quest in the game. You'll encounter her in the Ancient Vault, which can be found east of the Springlands Ancient Spire.
Once the hunter is at your base with the Summoning Staff, all you need to do is interact with her and you will be assigned the quest "Salt Mine Location" in the game. This will mark the location of the Egertion Salt Mines on your map. Here you will need to prepare yourself to enter cloaked areas, as the mine is completely covered by them. Along with everything, bring a pickaxe to mine salt in Enshrouded.
