Squirtle is a valuable Pokémon to have in Let's Go, Pikachu! for several reasons. As a Water-type Pokémon, Squirtle is strong against Fire-type Pokémon, which are relatively common in the game. Squirtle evolves into Blastoise, a powerful Water-type Pokémon with strong moves that is especially useful in late-game battles. Catching Squirtle is essential to completing your Pokédex, which is a goal for many players, and here are two ways to obtain it.
Where to find Squirtle in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee
To catch Squirtle, you will need to go to Cerulean City, as your goal is to go north of this location. Look for Route 24 that crosses the waterway via the famous Nugget Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, go left.
Here, when you see a Squirtle appear after chain-catching Venonat or Psyduck, start throwing a Pokeball. This may take several tries, so make sure you have enough resources.
There is another way to catch Squirtle in Let's Go Pikachu and that is by reaching Cerulean City during the main story. Talk to a guard by a house with an orange roof, and when you come back you will see her chasing a Squirtle.
