When you’re focused on things to do in Warframe, there’s always something to chase and a new grind to focus on. For those who are eager to earn rewards, make sure to get started with Volatile Mote.

Volatile Motes are a weirder reward you can earn in Warframe, a tier above Vestigial Motes. They’re not found outside of specific game modes, and require a fair amount of setup to reach this point. It can take some effort to get there, but the rewards are always worth it if you can consistently complete this quest.

You can earn Volatile Motes by completing the Belly of the Beast Operation in Warframe. You can access this operation by completing the main story mission Jade Shadows, which requires you to complete The New War missions. After doing so, head to the Uranus: Brutus node and activate the Ascension game mode, which will give you the option to play Belly of the Beast. Volatile Motes are a guaranteed drop from this game mode.

Belly of the Beast differs from the standard Ascension game mode, and you’ll want to be better prepared for the challenges. Many enemies in Belly of the Beast are Jade Light Eximus, meaning they can unleash powerful, increasingly damaging attacks on you. You’ll earn the rewards after completing the mission, which nets you four to six Volatile Motes, or eight to ten if you do it on the Steel Path.
