In Nightingale, plant boxes provide easy access to food and plants that you would otherwise have to find in the wild. Here's how to unlock the Plant Box and start growing crops in Nightingale.
Nightingale FAST & SUSTAINABLE Farming Guide
In order to grow crops, you’ll first need to purchase the Plant Box schematic. The Plant Box is a structure that, when built on your estate, allows you to plant and grow seeds. The only trader who sells the schematic is the Forest Antiquarian Essence Trader; you’ll need to head to the Forest Antiquarian Realm and purchase it from him for five T1 Essence. While you’re there, don’t forget to also purchase the Simple Watering Can crafting recipe, which costs 10 T1 Essence.
In order to use your Plant Box, you’ll also need to obtain Seeds. All plants in Nightingale have Seeds, which you can craft at the Simple Mortar Station. Each Seed costs five of a particular plant to craft; if you don’t have enough plants on hand, you can craft Crude Seeds using Plant Fiber instead.
