As a group leader, you need to know how to heal your team members in the Infection Free Zone. The zombies in the outside world are eager to get a taste of flesh, so they won’t stop themselves from attacking your civilians. You’ll often find your team members injured and losing their efficiency. You might end up losing a few of them if you don’t take good care of them. To avoid such a situation, here’s a guide on how to heal in the Infection Free Zone.
Infection-free zone: tips and tricks
You will know that one of your teammates is injured when you see the red color on their portrait. The red color represents the amount of damage they have taken. However, if you hover over a teammate's portrait, you will see a short information about how much HP they have left of 100.
While your team will automatically heal themselves, this process is quite slow and ineffective. However, you can also use a First Aid Kit to heal them instantly in the Infection-Free Zone. To do this, left-click on the First Aid Kit in your team’s inventory and drag it onto the injured teammate’s portrait.
In addition to using a medkit, you can also build a medbay to heal your people. A medbay is built after researching "medical cure" in the Research Center. It will take you almost 40 in-game hours to build a medbay. But once it is built, you can assign one of your people to heal others without using a medkit. Remember that people working at medbay can also produce medkits in case you want to heal directly in Infection Free Zone.
