Prior to the game’s launch, Capcom released a Character Creator & Storage demo for DD2, so if you’ve played with it, it makes sense that you’d want to import the same character into Dragon’s Dogma 2. The good news is that you can, and it’s pretty easy. The best part is that it works for both the custom Arisen and Pawn that you’ll need to have created, so below are the steps on how to bring both over.
How to Import your Arisen & Pawn from Character Creator into Dragon's Dogma 2 Game
Before you can import them, open the Character Creator and select the Arisen or Pawn you want to transfer to your game. You will need to do this if you have multiple characters created. Once you are done, launch DD2.
If that doesn't work for you, close the game. Go to Steam and make sure both the game and the Character Creator have Steam Cloud saves enabled. Try importing your character again and it should work now. Thanks to Reddit user u/Masklein for sharing this solution, you can see their comment here.
Continue playing the game until you get to the point where you need to import your Pawn. This is easier than Arisen, as the game will ask you to "Use existing character data to create your Pawn?", then choose Yes as before. Now the Pawn will be imported as well.
