If you want to be a successful ruler in Manor Lords, you need to make your citizens happy. If you don’t take care of your villagers, they will leave your estate in search of better living conditions. Here’s how to increase your approval rating in Manor Lords.
How to Increase Approval Rating in Manor Lords
Approval rating measures your popularity among villagers and affects the population growth and morale of your militia. It ranges from 0% to 100%, and ideally you want it to always be above 80%. A high approval attracts new villagers, and if it drops below 50%, your citizens will slowly leave your town. There are several ways to make sure your citizens are happy.
Villagers can ask for many things, but first they need to have enough food and fuel. The best way to have enough food is to build enough hunting camps and foraging huts. Later you need to build chicken coops and vegetable gardens in the backyards of village houses.
To keep villagers warm, prepare enough firewood and later build a charcoal oven to make charcoal. You will need it badly if you want to expand your city and prepare all the citizens for the winter season. When they are well fed and warm, they will ask for more food variety at a marketplace. You are fine if you have berries, meat and eggs, but you can also invest in farmland so that you can bake bread. This takes some work, so if you need food variety at the market quickly, import other types of food through the trading post.
