Since the skill tree doesn’t reveal anything other than cool moves to use on the Naytibas, you’ll find that there’s no way to increase your max HP in Stellar Blade. But don’t worry; there is a way, and it involves keeping your comrades’ memories alive.
Change these Stellar Blade settings before you play!
Stellar Blade shares some notable similarities with Dark Souls, from Supply Camps that respawn enemies to the unique and awesome character designs for each Naytiba. One key difference that sets Stellar Blade apart from other Soulslikes is the ability to freely pause during a boss fight and build gear, rather than boosting certain stats as you level up. One thing I quickly noticed, however, was the lack of information regarding your max HP. There’s only one way to upgrade this in Stellar Blade, and that’s through the game’s Body Core system.
Here's everything you need to know about where to find Body Cores and what they do in Stellar Blade.
Unlike Dark Souls' Vitality, Stellar Blade's health system isn't tied to leveling up. You'll need to find Body Cores if you want to increase your Max HP. Body Cores are only found on deceased Airborne soldiers, whose bodies rot in the various wastelands of Stellar Blade. They're not to be confused with the Legionnaire bodies you can interact with. As you scan with the Drone in Stellar Blade, points of interest, including Bodies, will be highlighted in a gold outline. You can spot these bodies through walls and what appears to be within a 50-meter radius.
