If you’re like us and interact with multiple apps and websites on a daily basis, it can be a hassle to remember or manually enter passwords for all of your services. Luckily, Apple offers a secure way to store passwords, banking information, and other sensitive information in iCloud Keychain.
iCloud Keychain PASSWORDS on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac! – IT'S TIME to ORGANIZE YOUR PASSWORDS!
Once passwords are stored in iCloud Keychain, you can access them through Spotlight or System Preferences on a Mac, or the Settings app on an iPhone. For easier access to Keychain Passwords, see the post below for viewing your saved passwords using your keyboard or menu bar on a Mac and the Home screen icon or widget on an iPhone.
The ability to access iCloud Keychain passwords is possible using a user-created shortcut that can easily be added to the Shortcuts app on your Mac. Since the release of macOS Monterey, Macs have supported system-wide shortcuts. This allows you to add a shortcut to access passwords stored in your iCloud Keychain directly from your Mac’s keyboard or from the menu bar at the top.
Once you've added the passwords to the Shortcuts app, you can configure it to give you direct access to your Keychain passwords from your keyboard on any screen.
