Snapchat is known for its disappearing snaps and messages. Originally, the app would only keep messages visible until the other user viewed them. Now, with a new feature, users can extend that time frame to an entire day!
How to Auto-Save Chats on Snapchat | Update 2023
If you're looking to keep your messages around for a little longer so you can stay somewhat in the loop with the conversation (are you listening, Snapchat?), this new feature is for you.
Step 1: To ensure chat messages are saved for 24 hours after they are viewed, launch the Snapchat app and swipe right to go to the chat page.
Step 2: Now select a conversation with a user that you want to apply this setting to. Tap and hold on the chat. Select 'More' from the pop-out menu.
