While leveling up your Union Level may seem much easier, it’s not the same as trying to level up Data Bank in Wuthering Waves. There’s a whole different process you need to go through to increase it. Paying special attention to this can increase your chances of obtaining rare Echoes for your character. Now that you’re here, it’s pretty obvious that you’re willing to level up the Data Bank in WuWa. So to help you out, here’s a quick guide.

To increase your Data Bank level, you need to earn Data Bank Exp by collecting different Echoes in WuWa. The Echoes are usually found after defeating an enemy in the overworld. It should be noted that each Echo has 4 different rarities: Green (lowest rarity), Blue, Purple, and Gold (highest rarity). If you already have an Echo of Blue rarity, you can still get Data Bank Exp by finding the same Echo of a different rarity.

Also keep in mind that if you find an Echo of the highest rarity right away, you will also get Exp for the lowest version. Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to find rare Echoes in the early and mid stages of the game. However, each week you will get an increased chance to obtain Echoes from the world and weekly bosses. Additionally, you can also find white and shiny enemies, as they are guaranteed to drop Echoes.

Finally, there is something else you should know: exploring the surface is important. Only then will you be able to find and collect Echoes and get Data Bank Exp.
