FF7 Rebirth – How to Upgrade Weapons
Unlike Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth's weapon level upgrades are automatic. All you have to do is collect more SP to use in your Folio, and your weapon level will automatically increase.
Each upgrade unlocks Weapon Skills that you can equip, similar to materia. They are passive upgrades. Some Weapon Skills can be equipped on any weapon, while others are unique to the individual loadout.
Weapon level is shared across a character's weapons, so if you want to level up, you'll need to collect more SP.
