This article shows you how to "like" something on Facebook. Because Facebook's algorithm uses your "likes" to shape the newsfeed, unintended "likes" can influence unwanted content. That's why it's important (and easy) to undo your "likes" by "unliking" a post, comment, or page.
How to Like Something on Facebook
There are two ways to undo an accidental like on Facebook. The direct method is to reselect the blue Like icon to undo the like. It will turn gray from the previous blue. The second method uses the Activity Log.
You can't like your previous likes immediately or later. It's always better to do this as early as possible on some posts to avoid irrelevant ads and content.
Go to the post, comment, or Facebook page you previously liked.
