Instagram is expanding the capabilities of its Limits feature to protect users who are being bullied or harassed on the platform. You can now restrict interactions from all users except those in your Close Friends list. Here's everything you need to know about the addition of the new option, what it does, and how to enable it.
The one thing that makes everyone like you
The Limits feature allows any Instagram user to prevent interactions with bullies and harassers. When enabled, you can decide whether to limit “Some Interactions” or “Most Interactions.” The latter includes things like tags, mentions, DMs, story replies, and new comments on your content.
Here's how to limit interactions with "everyone except your closest friends."
Those who aren’t on your Close Friends list can still interact with your posts. But you won’t see these updates. They also won’t know if you’ve enabled this feature. Of course, you can decide for yourself whether you want to interact with the DMs and limited comments.
