iOS 16’s custom lock screens have been all the rage since the operating system was released, with users taking advantage of the new customization feature to breathe new life into their iOS devices. Custom lock screens on iOS 16 also allow you to pair them with specific Focus modes to further personalize your device experience. Let’s take a look at how to do this on an iOS device.

Here are the three requirements to change Focus mode with your lock screen.

This feature is not available on iOS 15 or earlier. You will need to update to iOS 16.

If you haven’t created one yet, create one now. Unlock your phone and on the lock screen, press and hold the middle of the screen to enter editing mode. Now tap the + button in the bottom right corner to create a new custom lock screen.
