V Rising is a Survival Action-Adventure game with Multiplayer. You play as a weakened Vampire who has woken up from his sleep in this game. Now you have to gather resources, fight enemies and build your castle and army. All resources in this game are valuable for survival. The sun is the biggest obstacle in your path, you will have to use magic items to withstand it. That is where Glass comes in. Glass is the smelted product of Quartz. Putting 15-20 Quartz (depending on the bonus on the floor) into a Furnace will yield a piece of Glass. To get Quartz, you can mine it from Quartz Nodes around the map. Often seen east of Dawnbreak Village & at Dunley Monastery. While you can get Quartz here, it is better to find in Cave Systems. When searching for Iron & Copper, there is a good chance you will come across Quartz. Speaking of Dunley Monastery, you can also farm Glass there. While it is preferable to get Quartz, this is a way to get it without the smelting.

You can get the crafting recipe for Glass by defeating the V Blood, Christina the Sun Priestess. She will give the recipe for many items such as Empty Glass Bottle, Holy Resistance Potion, and Blood Rose Potion in addition to Glass. Make sure to collect as much Quartz as you can when you start your adventures. All that Quartz you collect will come in handy later when you craft Magical Items such as Scourgestone & Scourge Pendant. You will be able to craft other Pendants as well as Dark Silver.
