Maximizing iron resources in Manor Lords allows you to increase your regional wealth through crafted items such as tools.
How to Make Tools in Manor Lords (Guide)
Mining is a key mechanic in Manor Lords, allowing you to craft items for a variety of purposes. For example, iron deposits are mined to craft weapons like spears and sidearms. Iron is also used to craft tools in Manor Lords, though there is no official use for tools at the time of the beta launch. But that doesn’t mean tools are worthless.
Tools are made from Iron Slabs, which are crafted from Iron deposits that have been mined. However, not all regions in Manor Lords have an Iron deposit. For those who haven't high-rolled in a region with Iron, like me, you have two options: Take over an adjacent region with an Iron deposit and spread the Iron back to your original village, or import Iron Slabs via a Trading Post.
Buying Iron Slabs from neighboring regions requires an established trade route at the Trading Post. I don't recommend importing Iron Slabs for tools, as it costs more for the slab than it does to export the tools. However, you do need Iron Slabs for weapons.
