How to Catch Capybaras with a Soul Mask
To catch fish, you will need a fish trap. This will automatically catch fish nearby when the right baits are added. The list of baits currently available are grasshoppers, poisonous insects, and fresh meat.
Branches can be obtained by chopping down trees, leather can be crafted with 1x Tanning Fluid at the Tanning Rack, and thick rope can be manually crafted with 3x Vine. If you don't have Tanning Fluid yet, you can craft it with 2x Vine and 2x Tree Bark at the Tanning Rack.
Now go to a body of water like a river or a lake. You can dive under the water to see if there are fish swimming. If there are, set a fish trap with a bait. Don't forget the bait, because without bait the fish won't be attracted!
