How to Make Shoes in Manor Lords (Guide)
Crafting is a core mechanic in Manor Lords, but not every item made is essential to survival. Villagers at the beginning of the city builder may go without clothing shops but still wear clothes, as only a lack of fuel will cause them to freeze and even die. Shoes in Manor Lords are a craftable item that improves quality of life and allows you to level up your Militia while earning money for the city by exporting them to other regions.
Shoes are made of leather in Manor Lords. Leather can come from animal hides that have been hunted. Hides are also made from Burage Plot houses that herd goats in their backyard.
You can import leather, but I don't recommend it, as it will cost you money that you could have spent on other goods. Hides are taken to the Tanner, who then processes them into leather.
