Microsoft Teams is one of the most widely used collaboration tools with over 20 million daily active users. The service offers features such as instant messaging, video and audio conferencing, file sharing, real-time editing, and Office 365 integration.
How to mark messages as important in Microsoft Teams
Since the collaboration toll can include up to 5000 people in one team, it is very important that some messages are conveyed with the highest priority and not lost in a sea of texts. Some messages can be time-critical and therefore they are given a different priority within the messaging system if they are marked as urgent, so that the recipient(s) are notified as soon as possible.
Microsoft offers a way to prioritize messages within Teams. Unlike regular messages, prioritized messages make sure the recipient can see the message with their own eyes.
Step 1: Compose a message in the relevant chat and expand the compose box by clicking the Format button in the bottom toolbar below the text box.
