Your Google Home is a great device for checking the weather, setting alarms, controlling your smart home, or even creating a network of connected speakers, but you might not have a spare Google Home speaker to create a great sound setup in your house or apartment. That’s fine: you can just send your music through any decent-sounding Bluetooth speakers you have. After all, who needs your Google speaker?
How to Pair and Control ANY Bluetooth Speaker with Google Home
First, turn on your Bluetooth speaker and leave it in pairing mode. Then, open the Google Home app and tap on the Google Home speaker you want to sync with your Bluetooth speaker. Tap on the Settings icon (the gear) in the top right corner, scroll down and tap on “Default speaker.”
Tap “Pair Bluetooth Speaker” and your Google Home speaker will search for the speaker you want to pair with.
When your Bluetooth speaker appears, tap it to select it, then tap 'Done'.
