This article explains how to delete a Yahoo account using a web browser.

You can close your entire Yahoo account and revoke access to your email address, delete all of your emails, and prevent people from sending you messages. This is possible through the Privacy Dashboard:

Open Yahoo Mail and sign in if prompted.

Hover over your name at the top right of the page and select Manage your account from the menu.
