The Season 4 Reloaded update added a special Bit Party playlist modifier to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer. The playlist features a retro-styled, pixelated map and characters; and is accompanied by a themed bundle and a limited-time event. Here's a look at the special aspects of the mode, and how to play it.
When you unlock Orion in Modern Warfare 2
Bit Party is a playlist modifier, meaning it takes regular maps and game modes from MW3 Multiplayer and adds a unique flavor to them. For example, one of the maps in the pool features Bitvela, an 8-bit pixel-art version of the original Favela map. More importantly, all operators in the Bit Party playlist follow the same pixelated theme and are presented in the same way.
The most interesting element of this limited time mode is the size of the operator’s head. As you get more kills, your head size increases along with your hitbox, meaning you’ll be more visible to enemies and a bullet magnet. On the plus side, a larger skull allows you to score more points and capture objectives faster. Your head size can be seen below your health bar in the bottom left corner.
Killing an enemy with a big head will give you bonus points for your team. Additionally, you’ll get XP bonuses and special tags like Balloon Head Saboteur, Inflating Ego, and Parade Floating. Another cool aspect of the Bit Party playlist is the pixelated death effect (see image), which is a nice touch and adds to the theme. It would have been even better if the weapons in this mode had followed the same 8-bit style as well.
