As you build up your resources and make a name for yourself in the Manor Lands, not everyone wants you to prosper. Bandits are likely to appear in your growing region, and you must protect yourself from them.

Bandits are aggressive units that will periodically attack you during your Manor Lords campaign. When they attack your village, they will take a small amount of resources that you have gathered, making it harder to maintain a happy life with your villagers. Fortunately, there are a few ways that you can protect yourself from these bandits, making it harder for them to take what is rightfully yours.

Protecting your village from Bandits in Manor Lords all comes down to having a healthy militia and keeping their morale high. You can create a militia by going to the Army tab at the bottom of your screen and equipping your villagers with the appropriate gear. You won’t be able to create every type of army, depending on the specific military items you’ve crafted in your town or traded with other regions.

An established militia in Manor Lords can help protect against bandits stealing your resources, and they can deter bandits who might attack you. Fortunately, there is usually a notification when an attack is coming, giving you plenty of time to focus on increasing your forces and preparing your villagers.
