When VALORANT Episode Nine kicks off, the top Premier players and teams will have the opportunity to compete in the new Invite Division, the first step toward becoming a pro and qualifying for regional VCT Challengers competitions.

Since Premier’s inception, Riot Games has said that the end goal for the seasonal, scheduled competitive mode is for it to serve as the primary path for players to progress into VCT Challengers leagues. With the launch of Invite Division, and a plethora of new changes to Premier that allow for easier promotion, the path to pro in VALORANT is now open.
To be eligible for promotion to a regional VCT Challengers league, a VALORANT Premier team must perform well in the Invite Division, or at least finish in the top two in the respective regional Contender Division. Playoff results will be the primary factor in determining Invite Division standings, with Premier Score, number of matches played per week, and weekly round differentials serving as tiebreakers.
To qualify for the Invite Division, teams must win the Contender Division playoffs. However, in order to grow the Invite Division numbers early, the top 32 Contender Division teams will also be promoted to the Invite Division during Episode Eight, Act Three.
