So you’re new to Clubhouse and have just joined an interesting room. Typically, you’ll find that these rooms are moderated quite closely and speakers are pre-assigned before the room is hosted. So, how do you go about speaking in such rooms? Well, Clubhouse has a handy feature called “raise hand” that lets the moderator know that you want to speak.
The moderator can then approve this request, making you a speaker for the current room. Let's take a look at how to raise your hand in Clubhouse.
Join a Clubhouse room as you normally would, then tap the “hand” icon at the bottom of your screen.
This will automatically send a request to the moderator. You will be notified at the top of your screen.
