Zoom has been on the rise lately and is widely used by organizations, educational institutions and regular users to communicate with their community. The service has a lot of features, including the ability to record ongoing meetings.
How to Record a Zoom Meeting Without the Host's Permission
If you are a host or participant in a meeting with recording enabled, you can record meetings directly on Zoom through the desktop app. The 'Record' option is present in the meeting screen to the right of 'Chat' and both participants and hosts have the functionality, depending on their meeting settings.
However, Zoom restricts recording of meetings that have been disabled by the host. If you are in a meeting that cannot be recorded, you can still record the session with audio by following the guide below.
Please note that Zoom has its own recording feature, so you can record any meeting you want.
