In this article, we will show you how to record audio on Windows computer. There are two methods covered, depending on the features you want.
🔊 How to Record Audio on PC
The first method uses the built-in Windows program, called Sound Recorder in Windows 11 and Voice Recorder in other versions. You can open this tool from the Start menu.
Open the Start menu and search for recorder. Choose Sound Recorder if you are using Windows 11, or Voice Recorder if you see it.
Press the red record button or the blue microphone button, depending on your Windows version. If you are using Windows 11, you can also choose which device you want to record from via the menu at the bottom left.
