This article explains how to retrieve and permanently delete voicemail on an iPhone. Instructions apply to iPhones running iOS 10 and later.

If you deleted a voicemail message and now want to get it back, follow these steps:

Tap the Phone app to open it.

Tap Voicemail in the lower right corner.
