In Fallout 4, the nuclear wasteland of the Commonwealth may seem like a turbulent place, but recruiting a companion makes things a lot easier. One companion you can recruit in the early game is Cait, and we'll show you how.

Cait is a tough and aggressive Irish companion who will stick by your side as you explore the atomic aftermath of Fallout 4. If you want a tough companion who can help you out in sticky situations, read on.

You'll find Cait fighting robots in the Combat Zone in the eastern corner of Diamond City next to the District of Greater Boston. You can even visit her while on a quest, but be aware of the Raiders guarding the area.

Fighting the Raiders can be a pain if you're not prepared, but playing on a lower difficulty or bringing an extra companion can even the odds.
