Netflix saves where you are in a show or movie, so if you ever stop and come back, you can pick up where you left off. It’s a great feature, but it’s also a curse. Sometimes you need to know how to remove “continue watching” items on Netflix.

With one exception for Android users, whether you're using the mobile app or the desktop version of Netflix, you'll need to log in to your account, select the profile you want to remove the continue watching items from, and then open the Viewing Activity page.

This method is for Android users who want to remove a title from their recently watched movies and series list. It should work for anyone using the most recent version of the app. If this doesn’t work, move on to the other set of instructions below.

Open the app from the Home tab and scroll down until you see the Continue Watching heading.
