The Settings app on Windows 11 recently got a new “Home” page. This page is the default page that the app opens to now, and it contains your recommended and most-used settings, but not much else. If you’re familiar with the Settings app, this homepage is largely irrelevant and is best removed.
Remove the start page from Windows 11 settings
There are a couple of ways to remove the home page from the Settings app. The first way is to use the Registry Editor, and the second way is to use the Group Policy Editor. In either case, consider making a backup first, so that if something goes wrong, you can revert back to the current settings.
The Registry Editor allows users of any version of Windows to remove the Start page from the Settings app.
Windows 11 Pro users can also use the Group Policy Editor to remove the Start page from the Settings app.
