This article explains how to remove the back cover on a Samsung Galaxy Note Edge so that you can swap out the battery, microSD card, or SIM card. The instructions in this article apply to the Galaxy Note Edge, but these steps may work for other Galaxy Edge devices.
Galaxy Note Edge Back Cover Replacement How to Replace
Find the small notch on the top edge of the phone, just below the power button. Insert your fingernail for leverage and pull back to remove the cover, giving you access to the battery, microSD, and SIM card. If it’s stuck, run a small object or your finger along the top edge to loosen the connection as you pull it off.
The long rectangular piece that takes up most of the back of the Note Edge is the battery. Look for a notch at the bottom of the battery slot and use your fingernail to pry it out. Insert the new battery in the exact same position and press down lightly to make sure it is fully seated.
The SIM card is the small white card in the metal holder with the word SIM underneath. To remove the Galaxy Note Edge SIM card, gently press your fingernail against the left edge and push it to the right, towards the battery compartment. Insert the new SIM card into the same slot with the gold pins facing down.
