Helldivers 2 is a fast-paced, tense third-person shooter where you, as a Helldiver, must fight for freedom in a hostile galaxy. While your main focus is on combat and completing orders and missions, players will also spend most of their time on their ship, plotting their next move and traveling across planets.

Likewise, players are given a ton of options when it comes to choosing a name for their ship at the start. However, if you quickly decide on a name that you no longer like and are wondering how to change it, here is everything you need to know about renaming your ship to give it a personal touch.

This game offers a plethora of customization features. Players can also easily change the name of their ship using a few simple steps. Once you have completed the tutorial and your first mission in Helldivers 2, head over to the Ship Management consoles. This terminal is located to the left of the Armory.

Now, interact with it to access the ship customization options. Click on your ship type, which is the first option, (for example – “Destroyer”). On the right side, you will see the option “Change ship name“. To access it, press Square on the PlayStation, R on the keyboard or X on the Xbox controller.
