The spam filter in Outlook isn't perfect, and new types of spam emerge every day. When you identify an email as spam, you help improve Microsoft Exchange Online Protection. The Outlook spam filter has been refined to remain effective when you report spam that it misses. These instructions apply to Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010, and Outlook for Microsoft 365.
Report phishing emails in Microsoft Outlook
Check to see if the Outlook Junk E-mail Reporting Tool is installed or install it:
Go to the File tab.
In the Outlook Options dialog box, select Add-ins.
