The hostile NPCs in this game are no joke. While your tribe members are trying to mine, chop wood and harvest, there is a chance that one or more of them will get kidnapped by these hostile elements. The enemy camps will hold them captive for a while, after which your slave will be sacrificed and leave a death package behind. In Soulmask, freeing a captured tribesman is a two-step process: you go to the location where the tribesman was kidnapped before time runs out and you talk to him or her to "rescue" him or her.

When a tribe member is captured, you will see a notification. Find them on the map (with the text "_ has been captured!") or directly in the enemy village where they were captured. The goal is to get to the location as quickly as possible, because if you are too late, you will not be able to use their abilities. There will be a timer on the map, so use a Portal or Mount to get there faster.

When you reach the place where your tribesman is trapped, approach him/her, interact and click on the Rescue option. You will see a short progress bar, after which the tribesman will be freed.
