At some point, while owning a Sony PS4 console, you may find that your controller is not working. While DualShock 4 controllers are highly regarded for their high quality and durability, things can always go wrong.

There may be situations where the controller becomes unresponsive, one or some buttons do not do what they are supposed to do, or a number of other issues. In these cases, a good solution is to try to reset your controller.

There are a couple of ways to reset a PS4 controller, depending on whether or not you have a second controller. Both methods are fairly simple to perform.
