This article explains how to reset the picture, sound, SmartHub, and network connection settings on Samsung TVs. You will also find instructions for a hard reset, resetting via Remote Management, and resetting non-smart Samsung TVs.

To reset the image, select Settings > Image Icon > Expert Settings > Reset Image. Confirm by selecting Yes.

This option resets your color, brightness, contrast, and other picture-related settings to the factory defaults. This is useful if you have made manual adjustments to the picture, but are not happy with the results and cannot return the settings to where you started. Resetting the picture settings does not change any other TV settings.

To reset the sound settings, select Settings > sound icon > Expert settings > Reset sound. Select Yes to confirm.
