Instagram Reels is a new feature added to the already feature-packed Instagram app. This feature lets you create 15, 30, or 60 second videos within the app, with a wide range of customization options. While there was a brief period where Instagram introduced a reverse setting for recorded videos on the app, they have since removed it. Reels also doesn’t have a native setting to reverse a video. This is a shame, as we would have liked to see one, as Snapchat has had it for years.

Since Instagram doesn’t have a native feature to reverse a video, we’re going to use our good old Snapchat instead. Luckily, Snapchat allows you to save a recorded video. This means you can record the video in reverse on Snapchat and then upload it to your Instagram Reels! You can also use other third-party apps to achieve the same effect.
